KRISTIN is a 15 year old and just completed her freshman year at Fairfield Freshman School. She is in the orchestra at school, having played the violin since she was in the fifth grade.

Kristin's family purchased Radar in the summer of 2007. Radar is a 5 year old Appendix and is half-brother to Melissa's Deacon. They are both out of the same AQHA stallion, Last Detail. Both boys have quite a jump to them and are nice movers and Radar is really enjoying his new life with his new owner.

Kristin joined pony club this year and rated to D3 this spring. Kristin did her first trial at IEA and plans on competing at Pony Club Mega-Rally, Champagne Run, and Jumpstart, among other competitions this year. The family also purchased a truck and trailer so that Radar can enjoy those road trips! He looks forward to a fun year with Kristin.

COMPETITION RESULTS
Kristin and Radar recently tried their first horse trial, running in Beginner Novice at Indiana Eventing Association's trial at Hoosier Horse Park at the end of May. After a little trouble (a couple of off courses) in dressage, they were still able to compete in stadium and cross country and both got a good education, finishing both jumping phases. We are so proud of both of them--they both came away with a great experience and are ready for their next trial!
