LAUREN will be 14 in March of this year and is in the 7th grade at Fairfield Middle School.

We are so thrilled that Lauren is leasing Scotch. He is getting a wonderful, caring, and loving new rider (and family) and Lauren is getting a horse who will teach her a lot (even though he can be a grumpy ol' man!) Mostly right now he's teaching her about stall cleaning, as he's such a pig. But they're enjoying each other. Lauren's learning alot about dressage (if she can get Scotchie in a frame, she can get ANY horse in a frame!) And they're working on their jumping skills too.

Lauren is a D-2 pony clubber and plans on doing her D-3 rating this spring. She hopes to compete at Pony Club Mega-Rally at the Kentucky Horse Park this summer, as well as some other competitions.

Lauren, along with her sister Kristen, is flying down to Florida to visit Melissa in late March and then will be driving back with us and the horses as we stop at Poplar Place Horse Trials on the way home. She'll have lots of fun seeing Longwood Farm and Ocala and all the horse stuff.
