PINT is a seven year old registered Appaloosa gelding (mostly white, just a few spots!). He is approximately 14.2h. He would make a great mount for a small adult (I'm about 5'7" and fit him fine) or a C or D-level pony clubber. He's a super jumper, nice mover, and has been taught great ground manners by his owner, who does a lot of natural horsemanship training with all her young charges.

He is a sweet, affectionate guy who needs an owner to bond with him, love him, and compete him (he enjoys it!).

Pint has done several local schooling shows over the last 2-3 years where he's always finished well. In 2007 he entered his first USEA horse trial, May-Daze, at the Kentucky Horse Park, where he finished on his dressage score of 28 in a Novice Horse division of 24 horses, earning him 3rd place. He followed that up by completing a Training Division at Leg-Up Schooling Horse Trials at Hoosier Horse Park, where he had one of just a few clean showjumping rounds.

He has schooled multiple times at the Kentucky Horse Park and has easily and happily schooled preliminary heights and questions. With the right rider, he will have no problem doing prelim level events.

He has always been sound and is an easy keeper other than needing to keep him out of the hot summer sun, since he's so white. He has no vices; trailers well, cross ties, etc. The only thing that worried him was the golf carts at May-Daze. By the end of the weekend he was getting used to them as long as they didn't fly up behind him and surprise him, but he'll need a little help getting conditioned to having them around.

We plan to continue to enter him in a few horse trials for 2008 until he finds that perfect new home where he can live up to his potential.
