Nikole & Ditto
Nikole is now a freshman in college and has been eventing for over three years with her Paint/TB cross, Ditto. They have worked their way up to Training level. Nikole is very interested in art and design, and is majoring in art in college. She is going to school fairly close by so will continue to ride on weekends and do a few competitions.
Kristin & Radar
Kristin is also a freshman in college, going to Colorado State. She and Radar worked up to Training level but unfortunately Radar had an injury late 2010. He has recovered, but will pretty much stay as a dressage horse now and will join Kristin in Colorado Winter 2012.
Sydney & Tex
Syd has a couple years of high school ahead of her but thinks she might go into business for her college career. She has worked hard with her first horse, Gimli, a BelgianX gelding, and competing him at Training level. She purchased a new horse Winter 2011, an OTTB named Diablo Tejano (Tex). She hopes to get up to Prelim with him in a year or so and is successfully competing him at Training.
Miranda & Aussie
Miranda is in high school and enjoys dressage with her horse, a Nakota gelding, Aussie. She competes in the local dressage circuit at Training and First level and has worked very hard and very successfully bringing along a non-traditional breed in dressage.
Carman & Maddie
Carman has been taking lessons with Melissa for over a year and recently purchased her own horse, Maddie, a TB mare, this spring. They hope to start eventing late this fall or next spring. Carman is a teacher at a local college.
Maggie & Gimli
Maggie purchased Gimli from Sydney in 2011 and joined Pony Club also. She participates in Pony Club activities and rally, and hopes to start USEA competitions in the future. Meanwhile, she and Gimli are having a great time together!
